ABOUT INSTITUTE
Shri children Welfare Society was established in the year 1992 to perform welfare activities especially to impart qualitative education to the students of socially and economically backward area of Tehsil Indora Distt. Kangra. The society is run by dedicated academicians, educationists and philanthropists, under the aegis of its founder Mahatma Faquir Chand ji popularly known as Baba ji. Baba ji has devoted his life to the spread of education and raise the society.

Establishment of an education institute in this educationally socially and economically backward area dates back to the year 1984 when by the grace of God Baba ji happened to visit this place in search of peace and tranquility. With the active co-operation of the people of this far flung area a primary school was started and later upgraded to senior secondary school in the year 1987. Later in the year 1992 a degree college with the faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce was started. It was deep desire of Baba ji to establish a teachers training college to provide quality education and to produce persons of quality, ornamented with high moral values. After a long struggle and hard work Baba ji could succeed in establishing teachers training college now known as Deen Dayal Mahesh College for Education.

HISTORY
After having N.O.C from the State Govt. on 26th December 2002 vide H.P. State Govt. Notification No EDN-A-Chha (7)-6/99 vol-III(Loose), Recognition from N.C.T.E. Jaipur was received vide order No. F.NRC/NCTE/F-3/HP-98/3983 at August 18, 2004.

ABOUT SOCIETY
Shri Children Welfare Society Sugh Bhatoli was established during the year 1992 with multifarious objectives in the field of Education, Health, Environment conservation and Rural upliftment. The Society was registered under Registration Act XXI, 1860 vide registration No. 385/92 dated 24th November 1992.
